1.0 Product Details
1.1 Every effort is made to describe the products offered for sale as accurately as possible. Visionary Furniture reserves the right to add, remove or amend product descriptions without notice.
1.2 Visionary Furniture reserves the right to make adjustments to the specifications of a product without notice. If you have any questions about a particular product, please contact us before purchasing. Any measurements and dimensions are supplied by us in good faith, and should be used for guidance only. If you are ordering an item where precise dimensions are critical, please contact us before ordering.
1.3 Product photographs that appear on the website are representative. Although every effort is made to colour match the photographs, products are supplied on the understanding that there may be slight differences in colour, grain patterns and tone. This is because our products are all made from solid woods or wood veneers which are natural materials and so variations will inevitably occur.
1.4 Visionary Furniture is committed to using the finest materials in our products. Where our upholstery products are made from leather, this is a natural product, there will be variations in colour or texture, and there may even be natural marks or scars on the hide; however these should be minimal due to our strict quality control.
1.5 Visionary Furniture will not accept liability for any extra costs incurred as a result of incorrect or incomplete measurements/information supplied by you. We will also not accept liability for any minor alternations that are made by the supplier.
1.6 Many of our products are sold fully assembled, however on occasions certain pieces will need minimal assembly, this has been deemed fit to protect the item in carriage.
2.0 Payment
2.1 Payment is made at the point of placing your order. Visionary Furniture reserves the right to refuse, cancel and refund any order, at any time.
2.2 Visionary Furniture accepts most major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express and PayPal. It is important that the details you provide are correct and you must ensure you are the owner of the credit, charge or debit card. 2.3 The contract will be concluded after the following steps have been completed: we have accepted your order and received your valid credit, charge or debit card payment details; we have confirmed your order via email; we have dispatched and delivered the goods.
2.4 For your security and protection should we need to refund you for any reason refunds will be given by the same method which the payment was made by.

3.2 The price of any product is the price promoted at the date and time of your order.
3.3 We reserve the right to refund any orders where a price has been incorrectly advertised on the website.
4.0 Delivery
4.1 Visionary Furniture can only deliver to addresses on the mainland UK. This is a weekday service and you will not be charged if you are based within mainland UK. For orders with a lesser value please see price details on payment page. Please note that delivery for home assembly furniture is free.
4.2 We will deliver your goods to the address you provide us at the time you place your order. Due to our commitment to the environment, we prefer to wait until all your items are in stock before we arrange delivery, so we can deliver them all at once. However, if you have an urgent need for one of the items on your order, we may be able to arrange a part delivery. However, please be aware that if you choose to split your order like this, you will incur an additional delivery charge.
4.3 Once you have signed for your goods, you will become the owner of the goods and therefore be liable for their subsequent loss or destruction.
4.4 Visionary Furniture will arrange delivery of your ready made furniture by a professional delivery team. Please remember, if returning any items they must be in manufacturer’s original packaging.
4.5 The carrier will phone you to book the delivery. However, if you are not in they will leave a message with a contact telephone number for you to agree a convenient date.
4.6 If you are unable, for whatever reason, to take delivery of your goods on the confirmed delivery date that you have arranged – you must inform the carriers at least one working day in advance so that another date can be booked.
4.7 If the carrier arranges a timed delivery then please be aware this is not part of our agreed terms and we do not accept any liability where timed deliveries are broken, we cannot accept liability for any losses or inconvenience caused for delivery failures to unforeseen circumstances.
4.8 Our carriers will not unwrap or assemble any flat packed items and your order will be delivered to the door.
4.9 Any changes made to the content of an order will have an impact on the delivery date. If changes are made and we are unable to deliver the goods on the confirmed delivery date, a new delivery date will be arranged.
5.0 14 Day Money Back Guarantee
At Visionary Furniture, we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items.
5.1 When you receive your goods, all damages and discrepancies must be reported within 3 days of delivery, it is important that you email info@visionaryfurniture.co.uk with a photograph showing any damage or quality issues.
Please remember to keep the packaging until you are 100% satisfied with your order. In the unlikely event that you need to return the item we can only accept it in its original packaging. This is really important, as each piece of furniture needs the same amount of protection returning it to our warehouse as it does on the way to our customers.
5.2 Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within a period of 14 working days, beginning the day after the day goods were delivered. Although where delivery is without charge, you will be liable for the cost of returning the product, which is 25% of your total order value. It is imperative that you notify us of your intention to return the goods by email within the 14 day period. When we receive this, we will issue you with a returns number which must be quoted on the paperwork returned with the goods.
5.3 Once the 14 day period has expired, Visionary Furniture will be unable to accept any returns unless faulty.
6.0 Returns and Refunds
6.1 It is very important to notify us within 24 hours by email at info@visionaryfurniture.co.uk if any items are received damaged or faulty. However, your query will not be processed until you have provided us with photographs of the fault/damage.
6.2 If you decide to cancel your order after we have attempted to deliver it, but have been unable to due to any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to, adverse weather conditions, floods or acts of god), a return delivery charge will apply which is 25% of your total order value.
6.3 Once any goods are dispatched from the warehouse, the costs for returning non-faulty items will be 25% of your total order value, this covers the shipping and handling. For this reason, please notify us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an item, as this will hopefully avoid any unwanted items being dispatched. Please note that the aforementioned return charge is applicable as soon as the goods have left the warehouse, regardless of whether or not they have reached their destination.
6.4 It is important that you do not return any items without gaining authorisation from us. The returns authorisation is valid for up to 14 days from delivery only, and must be in manufacturers original packaging. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay the associated costs of return and to ensure that all returned goods are in a pristine saleable condition Any goods that are returned without proper authorisation will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.
6.5 In the case of Mattresses, which are sealed for hygiene purposes, these goods cannot be exchanged or refunded under the Distance Selling Regulations once the packaging is opened.
6.6 Subject to your statutory rights, products which are made or altered specifically by the customer, may not be returned; nor will we provide any refund, unless they are defective or have been damaged in transit.
7.0 Product Guarantee
7.1 Visionary Furniture guarantees all products against faulty workmanship and faulty materials for a minimum period of twelve months from the date of delivery. In all cases, we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.
7.2 To care for your oak furniture and keep the lacquer looking as new as possible , we recommend that that the furniture is cleaned regularly using natural wax based polishes. Never use chemicals such as bleach or abrasive materials such as dish scrubbers on any oak products. Spillages should be avoided as much as possible, if they do happen they need to be cleaned off immediately with a dry cloth.
7.3 Guarantees do not cover fair wear and tear and natural characteristics of wooden products, including movement in wood products; neglect; abused or misuse of your goods through failing to follow correct care procedures, including the oiling and waxing of furniture; loss or damage due to fire, smoke, water, lightning, sunlight, weather, rusting, corrosion, theft or explosion; accidental damage or loss or damage caused by a third party.
7.4 Please be aware that hardwood is a natural product and that slight timber movements are a possibility, albeit a rare one. Although every effort is made to maintain conditions when shipping, the extreme climate changes sometimes cause slight swelling on doors or drawers, which makes them stiff to open. It is important not to return or refuse the items if this is the case as usually this problem will rectify itself once the timbers adjust to their new environment. Alternatively, you may find that simply swapping drawers around is a quick fix solution. If the movement does not settle, then you may need to sand or shave a small amount from a drawer or door. Visionary Furniture will not deem stiff drawers or doors as defective or faulty. Any adjustments need to be undertaken by the customer. However, if you do not wish to undertake any adjustments, you can return the items under the 7 day money back policy.
8.0 Repairs and Replacements
8.1 Visionary Furniture will organise the repair or replacement of a defective or incorrect item or part, free of charge. If a replacement is no longer available or circumstances determined by the seller make a replacement impractical, it may be replaced with a part that closely matches it.
8.2 Flat packed items are subject to return only in suppliers original packaging and only in the form they are delivered, that is not constructed. If any constituent part or parts is faulty or missing you should advise Visionary Furniture immediately and we will arrange to have replacement parts supplied by return.
8.3 Alternatively, at the discretion of the seller, an allowance may be made for customers to arrange a local repair. Visionary Furniture reserves the right to send an independent third party technician to inspect and report on all pieces of furniture where a customer claims there is a merchandise issue. The technicians are experts in their field and are there to determine the nature of any issues. We reserve the right for the technician to repair the item being inspected. In all cases this is to help resolve any merchandise issues and to leave the customer with goods that are fit for purpose.
9.0 Damaged Goods
9.1 In the unlikely event that any items are damaged in transit, we will use independent experts to report and resolve the matter, as quickly and as conveniently as possible.
9.2 All damages must be reported to info@visionaryfurniture.co.uk within 24 hours. Any items not reported as damaged within 24 hours will be deemed as received in good condition. Please include your order number and SC number from the outside packaging in any correspondence.
9.3 Please note that we will require photographic evidence of the damage in order to facilitate allowance, exchange or refund of the item.
9.4 If our carriers accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery our liability for that damage is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the goods or the value thereof.
9.5 Please be aware that although we offer free delivery, we subsidise the delivery fees within the purchase price of each item. Consequently, if you wish to return an item we reserve the right to refund less than the original purchase price; i.e. we will refund the original price minus the delivery cost. See our refund policy for more information.
9.6 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the furniture they purchase can pass through the doorways, hallways, rooms and staircases to the room of their choice. In the event of restricted access the delivery staff will leave the goods at the nearest convenient point for the customer.
9.7 Staff making deliveries are required by law to wear protective footwear at all times. As they are not allowed to remove this footwear when unloading the vehicle, gaining access to the property, or carrying furniture into the property, we strongly advise customers to make proper provision to protect their carpets and flooring. We do not accept responsibility for any marks or damage that may inadvertently be caused by delivery staff during the normal course of their work.
